From 1954 to the Present: A Chronology of an Industrial Giant

MGM Casting's story began with a vision to combine the strength of cast iron with a commitment to domestic production. Our entry into the agricultural equipment sector in 1994 has enabled our company to become an active solution partner in the engineering and design work of giants like the Turkish Tractor Factory.

In particular, the engineering work we carried out for Türk Traktör's "traction control system modernization" program proved that MGM is not just a supplier, but also an R&D center. Starting in 2006, we began managing the homologation processes of our own designs, and introduced products such as swivel hook hitch systems to the global market under our own brand.

Integrated Production Capacity: From Casting to Final Product

Today, MGM Casting offers an integrated production cycle with two separate facilities in Ankara's Temelli (Başkent OSB) and Saray/Kazan regions. With a total production area of 10,000 m² (6,000 m² covered) and a modern machine park of 75 units, we possess one of the most advanced production facilities in the country.

  • Saray/Kazan Facility: Our foundry, equipped with 2 melting furnaces and 2 molding lines, produces high-quality ductile iron and cast iron solutions.

  • Capital Organized Industrial Zone Facility: In our modern CNC machining centers, cast parts are processed with micron precision and transformed into critical components such as Planetary Carriers, Hubs, and Axles.

Our facilities not only handle casting but also possess advanced technical capabilities such as heat treatment, hot and cold forming, forging, induction grinding, and robotic welding. This allows us to offer our clients a wide range of services, from contract casting to fully assembled products.

Our facilities utilize high-standard pig iron (raw iron), grey cast iron, and especially high-strength ductile cast iron as raw materials. Our engineering department conducts the most suitable material analysis according to the technical requirements of the project.

2. Can you supply fully assembled products?

Yes. In addition to our casting and machining capabilities, our heat treatment, robotic welding, and assembly lines allow us to assemble parts and deliver finished products and complete mechanical systems.

3. Do you do prototyping and mass production for custom design projects?

MGM Casting is suitable for both mass production and high value-added, special projects (project-based manufacturing). Our R&D unit offers customized design and homologation support with its "Tailor Made" concept.
